Preschool Teachers - Full Time and Part Time

Happy Hollow School is looking for positive energetic individuals who enjoy the challenges and rewards of working with young children (ages 2.9 to 4 years) to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for preparing our students to be successful and happy learners. Teachers will be responsible for providing a supportive atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. The positions involve engaging children in hands-on learning experiences, teaching social and self-help skills, as well as, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, serving and eating meals/snacks with children, interacting daily with parents and encouraging a fun, positive and relaxing classroom atmosphere.

We have part-time and full-time teaching positions available to start in September 2008. A degree in Early Childhood Education, certification by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and classroom experience are preferred. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates should be able to work cooperatively in team teaching situations. A background in curriculum planning and behavior management is a bonus.
